I had WIndows Vista Home Premium running on my laptop and I loved it, but my desktop that was running on Windows XP Home Media Edition kind of went braindead. I couldn't recover it so I went ahead and bought a version of Vista. It installed without a hitch and was running in no time. I don't know but I had the early version of Vista when it barely came out on my laptop but this new version just seems a bit more responsive with some added visual effects. They both have the same stats except my laptop is a dual core so mine should be quicker. Oh well, at least I got a computer working as if it were brand new. Looking forward with what Microsoft has up their sleeve with WIndows 7 coming up.

We spent a lot of time researching to buy a system with vista. I found a pretty good system configuration and bought it. To my surprise after exploring the system I figured out. It was an exact copy of xp with a few more features. The laptop is so slow; it takes it 3 hours to open the start menu. So I took action disabling all of the startup items and a few things that I also do on my xp desktop. Still nothing! I bought it in 2006 and I am still trying to fix it! Wait until windows 7 comes out please. Vista basic, premium, ultimate, and business stink. Lastly why can't they release 2 versions like xp?
