I love the Office X3. It works very good. I would recommend it to others.

Corel Office X3 The latest version of Corel Office (X4) costs three hundred dollars at local retailers, so I held out little hope that this dirt-cheap CD would actually install the X3 version on our new Dell PC. The CD includes a valid serial number that you must enter when installing the software, but there is also a warning label included which says: "This CD-ROM is for use only by the End User in conjunction with their purchase of a PC or Peripheral with the product pre-installed. It is back up media to be used only for the reinstallation of the product on the PC or peripheral, if required." In spite of not having Corel Office (or any Corel products) on the Dell, the X3 software installed without issue. We now use WordPerfect, Quattro Pro, and Corel Presentations on that Dell PC. Don't expect Corel to provide X3 technical support and don't expect to download any patches, as you might with a full-priced retail version. Personally, I don't consider those important issues. I've been using Word and WordPerfect for years, and like them both, although our family likes Excel over Quattro Pro. No software is perfect, but the X3 version at least seems to have fixed some of the annoying "bugs" in Word Perfect 12. Since I wasn't going to pay three hundred bucks for any office product, it was either this or a freeware office suite. I'm sure glad we got this one. Highly recommended as a terrific bargain.
